Kitchen Renovation

What a kitchen renovation involves

A kitchen renovation is one of the most complex residential projects a homeowner can undertake. It involves multiple trades working in sequence, long lead times on materials, and decisions that affect how the space functions for years.

We manage the entire process under one contract. You have a single project manager who coordinates cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. You do not need to track down individual subcontractors or reconcile competing schedules.

Our typical kitchen renovation runs 8 to 12 weeks from start to finish, depending on scope and material lead times. We set a schedule before work begins and communicate any changes directly.

Common questions

Do we need an architect for a kitchen renovation?

Not always. For projects that involve structural changes, such as removing a load-bearing wall, we require engineered drawings. For cosmetic renovations, we can work from a design you provide or refer you to a designer we work with regularly.

Can we stay in the house during the renovation?

Most homeowners do. We seal off the work area and maintain a clean site. You will be without a functional kitchen for most of the build, so we recommend planning accordingly.

How do you handle material selections?

We provide a selection schedule at the start of the project. You choose materials by specific dates so the build does not stall waiting on deliveries. We can recommend suppliers we have worked with, but the selections are yours.

What if we want to make changes mid-project?

Changes are handled through a written change order that describes the work, the cost impact, and the schedule impact. We do not proceed on verbal approvals.
